Magnetic ink character recognition code (MICR Code) is a character-recognition technology used mainly by the banking industry to ease the processing and clearance of cheques and other financial documents. The MICR encoding, called the MICR line includes the document-type indicator, bank code, bank account number, cheque number, cheque amount and a control indicator. The technology allows MICR readers to scan and read the information directly into a data-collection device. The MICR E-13B font has been adopted as the international standard in ISO 1004:1996, but the CMC-7 font is widely used in Europe, Brazil and Mexico.
JETSCI iMCR is the result of Monotech's vast experience and continuous R&D, manufaturing and delivery of high speed and high quality inkjet printing systems achieving 100% customer satisfaction. MICR printing with Jetsci iMCR can achieve over 100% signal strength with consistency and reliability. Documents printed are of very high quality and meet the compliance of International Industry Standards at high speeds.
With Jetsci iMCR, operating cost can be reduced up to 50% in comparison to the conventional technologies used for printing MICR without compromising on the productivity and quality. High throughput upto 100m/min (36000 A4 sheets/100K cheques per hour) ensures fastest return on investment (ROI).
Jetsci iMCR can achieve over 100% signal strength (100-160%) consistently and reliably. The documents printed are on very high quality and meet the compliance of international standards at high speeds.
Multiple units of small printers can be replaced in existing setup with single unit of Jetsci iMCR. It can be integrated on to existing setup of web presses and offline sheetfeds. Customer just have to pay for inks/consumables being used and there are no click charges.
Jetsci iMCR Prime Black Ink is specially formulated ink that gives ultra crisp, sharp prints resistant to smudging and fading. It comes with an added advantage of additional security of Inkjet technology over and other toner/cartridge based system and most difficult to countefeit.
