Backup Software for Small to Medium Computing Environments

OVERVIEW

When it comes to data protection for the single server to small business, Yosemite Backup® Standard is the only solution you need. With platform support that includes Microsoft Windows®, Linux, NetWare® and UNIX and the ability to protect both servers and PC desktops with one product, backup can be centralized, consistent and simplified.

Yosemite Backup Single Server Edition is intended for customers who employ a single server for storing and sharing files across their network and require a simplified server-based data protection solution. Based on an industry-leading Yosemite Backup Standard, the Single Server Edition provides all the features from Yosemite Backup Standard such as: media encryption, calendar-based scheduling, wizard-based interface, unlimited backup to disk, multi-platform support, bare metal disaster recovery (optional), and open file protection (optional) without the complexity and cost of unneeded applications.

Backup Master Server
Primary component of the Backup Domain where all administrative functions such as backup job creation and management, scheduling, monitoring, reporting
and recoveries are performed

Backup Media Sever
Second primary component of the Backup Domain which receives all the data from the Client Servers, optionally encrypts the data and either stores backup data directly on disk or writes it out to directly-attached supported archiving devices.

Backup Client Server
Third primary component of the Backup Domain that hosts
applications and databases used to run the business

Storage Area Network Media Server
Directly backs up a server to any tape library or removable media resource attached to a SAN
