The Tandberg 440LTO Ultrium 2 tape drive delivers enterprise-level backup at an affordable cost to medium and large businesses. The Tandberg 440LTO is ideally suited for backup, restore and archive applications.

The Ultrium format is designed with a 4 generation roadmap that provides for up to 1.6TB per cartridge (2:1 compression) in Generation 4 with compressed transfer rate of up to 320MB per second.

840LTO
The Tandberg 840LTO is designed for integration into servers, desktop enclosures, autoloaders and scalable automated tape libraries. It offers up to twice the capacity and more than double the performance of the preceding Ultrium 2 generation of drives.  Digital Speed Matching (DSM) is designed to help improve throughput in environments where the host data rate is less than optimal.  Reduction of the overall power consumption from that of previous generation LTO drives.   A redesigned head actuator provides improved read head tracking capability and performance.  Enhanced power management results in reduced heat dissipation and greater operational efficiency than that of previous generation LTO drives.

The Tandberg StorageLibrary T24 (LTO) easily scales "on demand" from a 1x12 autoloader to a 2x24 library, with a choice of one or two half-high LTO-2 drives or a single full-height LTO-3 drive making it the industry's first true LTO entry-level SMB/departmental tape library. It redefines simplicity by offering virtual plug-and-play tape backup and unsurpassed Capacity on Demand by changing drive configuration or adding a second cartridge magazine all with industry-leading standard features and affordability. The Tandberg StorageLibrary T24 is configured with one LTO-2 drive and can be upgraded to hold a second LTO-2 drive to double its speed and offer drive redundancy. Adding the second LTO tape drive can be completed while the library is still in its rack. Upgrading from an LTO-2 drive to an LTO-3 SCSI or native Fiber Channel drive doubles drive doubles capacity and more than triples the LTO-2 drive speed.

The Tandberg StorageLibrary T40+ and T80+ incorporate the new Pass-Thru feature, allowing you to add additional drives and storage capacity as and when you need it. The Pass-Thru feature will allow up to five T40+ units to be stacked together in a 19” rack configuration.

The T40+ and T80+ are designed to improve efficiency and minimize IT downtime. The Performance on Demand (POD) feature allows you add additional drives or upgrade to the next LTO generation, increasing your library’s performance and capacity. The Web browser-based remote management interface allows you to monitor, control, configure and diagnose problems from anywhere in the world. The T40+ and T80+ support SNMP, which will immediately send an e-mail on any error.

The RDX QuikStor cartridge-based removable storage system combines the advantages of tape and the benefits of hard disk for a rugged, reliable and convenient backup solution at an affordable cost. A cartridge-based removable storage system, the RDX QuikStor delivers rugged, reliable and intelligent backup, archive and  recovery. The QuikStor allows users to accomplish data backup and recovery tasks using the speed and flexibility of hard disk with increased security and maximum protection. A shock proof design insures that the cartridge remains protected even outside the drive case.  Easy to use and simple to install, the RDX Quik features high performance with up to 108 GB/h transfer rate and is available in 40 GB, 80 GB or 120 GB capacities. RDX media is randomly accessed so stored files can be immediately retrieved without time-consuming sequential seeks. Single files and selected volumes can be restored in seconds instead of hours.
