What makes the Quattro stand out is its universal application potential within the DIN C6 to DIN B4 format range. Typical applications include documents and letters irrespective of the format, brochures and catalogues, insurance policies, business reports as well as direct mailing. Individually controlled gripper arms which automatically adjust to the individual thickness of the item to be processed, reliably and carefully collect the enclosures for insertion. Friction feeders or a book station ensure that extra thick and rigid enclosures such as brochures or catalogues are smoothly processed. Stacks, stapled at one corner only can also be reliably fed to the system through an end folding device. The enclosure multi pick-up also increases the system’s flexibility. Using barcodes and camera scanning also enables personalized enclosures to be reliably and intelligently fed to the document.

The Enduro is the first joint new development by BÖWE SYSTEC and BÖWE BELL+HOWELL in which proven technologies from both parts of the company have been combined – the intelligent control unit and modular input components on the one side and the proven gripper arm technology of the other. At up to 11,000 insertions per hour the Enduro is used in the medium output segment and covers the entire processing range from conventional account mailing through to diverse direct mailings.

For individual use, powerful and flexible
At 16,000 insertions per hour the Marathon16 offers highest output while processing a very wide range of materials. The outstanding feature of the system is its high filling thickness of up to 12 mm for all envelope formats up to B5. The use of guide sleeves ensures that the items are protected on all sides and transported without suffering damage. The application diversity of the Marathon16 is rounded off by flexible post-processing features such as sorting, franking or placement in post boxes.

The Turbo 22 incorporates leading edge material tracking technology to ensure each mail piece is processed securely, efficiently and reliably and at the lowest cost. The application range and processing flexibility is clearly evident in the two system configurations on display at Xplor 2002. The first Turbo 22 system demonstrates the high speed processing of multiple page applications at maximum cycle speeds. Integrated with the new 380 Stream Pinless cutter, the demand for high speed flexible feeding is accomplished through Bowe's innovative material transport "Paper Loop System" design. This system provides greater control of the form for faster feeding and higher cutting performance, thereby increasing the performance of the Turbo 22.
